Vulnerability Description

 

This advisory covers vulnerabilities discovered in the OTRS FAQ module.

 

Information Disclosure

 

  • An attacker could access and manipulate the database with an HTTP request.

 

Affected by this vulnerability are all releases of FAQ:

  • FAQ 2.0.x up to and including 2.0.8
  • FAQ 2.1.x up to and including 2.1.4
  • FAQ 2.2.x up to and including 2.2.3
  • FAQ 2.3.x up to and including 2.3.4
  • FAQ 4.0.x up to and including 4.0.3
  • FAQ 5.0.x up to and including 5.0.3

This vulnerability is fixed in FAQ 5.0.5, FAQ 4.0.5, and FAQ 2.3.6 and it is recommended to upgrade to one of these versions.
